Chapter 1: Birth January 2007-March 2009
EWE was founded and brokered by Rocco Brunnetie; Nick Brunnetie's father. Rocco Brunnetie ran Florida Championship Wrestling which was WWE's rookie brand in 2009. However; after dispute with Mr.McMahon and mistreatment of the future of wrestling. Rocco broke off; and took many high level WWE superstars and new upstarts. Bringing top talent; old stars looking for a rebirth; and new stars looking for a moment to breakthrough. WWE was left depleted. EWE was a land of the fans. And it was built for the fans; many EWE events were nothing but hardcore showdowns.
EWE ran it's first event on February 14th 2009; broadcasting the St. Valentines Massacre debut event.
Chapter 2: The Start April 2009-January 2012
The first event was loved by critics; faithful's; and causal fans alike. A show that delivered on all fronts. Steel Cage matches; street fights; ladder matches; you name it it had it. The project gained a project to air it's own WrestleMania after Direct TV was so impressed. Live conferences were held on major TV networks; building up to the event. WrestleMania I took it to new lengths in a iconic night. That every fan will remember and embrace as the genesis.
After this; Spike TV gave the new program EWE Monday Night Raw. By; this point Mr.McMahon had bankrupted; and been bought out by the EWE. EWE Monday Night Raw featured the top stars of EWE; and it gained strong following in Monday Night's Prime Time TV slot. Mr.McMahon attempted to Sue the Company; but failed.
Chapter 3: Breakout January 2012-December 2012
EWE signed a new deal with Youtube TV in January 2012; followed by this EWE Monday Night Raw became Saturday Night Raw. Every Saturday brought huge showings; and to much more fans. More stars started becoming signed. The fight to become the dominant wrestling enterprise post WWE was ending. EWE was gaining new stars almost every week. This era was led by stars like John Cena; Edge; Triple H; Shawn Michaels; Randy Orton; The Undertaker.
Chapter 4: Expansion and Dominance January 2013-June 2014
EWE in January 2013 expanded it's deal with Youtube; bringing us EWE Friday Night SmackDown. With Raw moving back to Monday's. EWE gained it's own exclusive website in January 2013. This era known as the Ruthless Era; saw new stars like MVP rise to the forefront. Returns in Kurt Angle; debuts in Chris Beniot; etc. This featured new long term storylines; brand oriented stars. The return of Mr.McMahon as a General Manager; and Nick Brunnetie taking over the EWE from his father.
Chapter 5: The NWO Invasion June 2014-December 2014
In June 2014 everything was changed. Everything that was normal for that matter. Hulk Hogan disgruntled over being fired promised revenge. A surprise destruction of SD Live TV PPV. This wasn't exclusive to no brand; and soon the NWO was EWE's problem not SD/Raw. Creating conflict as many stars were fiercely loyal to a brand. Bischoff a Raw General Manager was in on it; and EWE Ownership was to fragile to do anything. Soon; the NWO hijacked Monday Night Raw as NWO Raw. EWE stock dropped 120%; the corporate office was taken over. However; the NWO was defeated by a elite task force of EWE's best superstars.
Chapter 6 ''The Council'' December 2014 - July 2016
After the NWO's defeat the Council of Ownership took over EWE. Nick Brunnetie turned Heel joining forces with Mr.McMahon and WFF's owner JD Bradly to run EWE. SmackDown/Raw as separate brands were dissolved again; and these men made all choices. Soon Eric Bischoff; was even rehired. As Brunnetie saw Bischoff as the man who gave EWE Rebirth. These four would hunt Cm Punk in his pursuit of the EWE Championship. With stars like Brock Lesnar, Cm Punk - Steve Austin - Shawn Michaels - Randy Orton - Triple H - Kevin Nash - Kurt Angle - Finn Balor as the stars who led this era.
Chapter 7 ''Death'' July 2016
The Council has been embezzling funds; and mistreating many stars. Things became out of control as EWE was ruled by a dictatorship; some stating the NWO Era was even better. Many stars refused to compete for the 2016 WrestleMania; as well as bankrupcy. EWE collapsed in on itself in July 2016.
Chapter 8 ''Projects'' July 2017-July 2019
Many stars attempted to recreate EWE in multiple projects; such as EWE Fast Forward. And smaller companies; even KWE tried to maintain some image of EWE. However; all attempts failed.
Chapter 9: The Rebirth of 2019 September 2019 - January 2020
EWE gained enough funding to brodcast a Youtube Event in hopes of a new deal. This show brought back fans of the old and new fans. This event kicked off new era with reinstated brands. However; the same man at top was Nick Brunnetie. The same issues faced the company. Until; Brunnetie was voted off by the board. Followed by a court battle. Mr.McMahon managed to regain control of this operation against the fans will. But; it was mutual everyone wanted the Brunneties out.
Chapter 10: X
EWE Rebooted one more time in May 2020; with the events having more control then ever. The company has searched the globe for the newest talents; and top talents. Collaborating with KWE; forming strong bonds and creating it's greatest content to date. This Era has been known as the revived Era.
Chapter 11: New Era
This Era is the next mutation of EWE as Vice City Wrestling continuing and only building off what was built in 2020. And this era will be here sooner then you think.
